"Did you know Rafi.ki means friend in Swahili?"
Rafi.ki is the perfect place to make friends around the world! We are an online linking community which helps schools and youth groups around the world to connect with one another to learn together. Unlike other social networking platforms, Rafi.ki offers a protected and moderated place for young people and their teachers to exchange work and ideas.
There are also lesson plans and interactive resources on global issues such as Climate Change, Global Health and Peace & Conflict to help bring a global dimension into all classrooms. Since Rafi.ki began it has had over 60,000 members from 130 countries - and we're constantly growing!
Who will you make friends with today?
The Rafi.ki Story
Rafi.ki was started by Gemin-i, the UK-based educational charity, with the aim of connecting young people and schools around the world in order to share ideas and work together as global citizens for a safer, fairer future which recognises the rights and cultures of all people.
Our vision is that young people throughout all nations shall experience and enjoy diversity, understand global issues and grow as active world citizens. Learn about the Gemin-i and Rafi.ki story in this video:
